Dr. Alachnowicz grew up in the Montclair-Dumfries community. In his hometown, he attended Potomac Senior High School while later graduating with a degree in Finance from James Madison University. He then earned his Dental degree at Virginia Commonwealth University (formerly, the Medical College of Virginia) in 1999. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Alachnowicz has enjoyed keeping up to date while attending many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. His new dental office showcases his vision for a modern, technology driven practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a licensed doctor of Conscious Sedation medication.
Dr. Alachnowicz lives in Montclair with his wife Rachel, who is a physical therapist for Prince William County Schools. They have four children- Jacob, John Raymond, Carolee, and Zachary. Coach Dave enjoys baseball when he has any free time. If he is not in his office he is on the field. Lunch time consist of line-ups and score sheets. He is committed to the game from spring to the end of fall. Go Red Socks!
